Well it's May 1st and our little man is now 6 months old! We stopped by a local park on a beautiful Sunday to snap an informal family picture to mark that Isaac is now half a year old. He is such a lovable little boy! Here is another shot of him playing on one of the blankets Grandma Garner made for him. As you can see he has turned himself around with his back to his toys because he becomes fascinated by the texture, color and feel of his brightly embroidered name at the opposite corner of the blanket. --Katie

Wow -- I just chanced on the most wonderful photos from Texas! A beautiful family of Arredondos, with this adorable little man named Isaac, had a sunshiney day out all to themselves... and how nice to have a beautiful place to come home to where the flowers are blooming their hearts out just to please the special family that lives there! Can it REALLY have been half a year since Papa Gil brought that wet little guy in straight from the operating room while his Mama Katie was being stitched back together?? Incredible!!!
Dad and I and the children picked Elijah and Pam up at the Moline airport today -- fresh and wonderfully exhilarated from their island adventure. They said it's the best thing they've done since having the kids.
